The large-format window group includes fixed glazing as well as opening windows, sliding structures, and aluminium-glass facades. What distinguishes large-format windows is their impressive size, ensuring maximum sunlight in rooms and guaranteeing panoramic views. Large-format windows are most often fitted with toughened safety glass with additional selective coatings, which limit the heat build-up in rooms and help to maintain suitably comfortable temperatures even on very hot days. The largest large-size windows and structures installed in hard-to-reach areas are subjected to the Heat Soak Test, which significantly reduces the risk of spontaneous breakage.

Many contemporary house and residence designs envisage using large glazed areas with a minimum of divisions and joints. Today's technical solutions allow the creation of glazed walls and facades using customised, large-size windows of different types and functions with a design adapted to any architectural style. Large-format windows are fitted with specially configured toughened glass panes, which mostly have additional selective, reflective, or self-cleaning coatings. Such glazing minimises the less pleasant effects of having windows the size of entire walls, i.e. reduces excessive heat build-up in the room, protects against too much sunlight, and eliminates problems with cleaning in hard-to-reach areas, e.g. at height. The installation of large windows can be a real logistical challenge, and heavy equipment in the form of cranes, mini cranes, lifting yokes, and low-floor transport vehicles are used during installation work. The maximum size of a single pane dedicated to large-format windows to order in Poland is 7x3.2m, and it is not the peak of European possibilities. For modern large-format structures, the architects' imagination and, of course, the planned budget are often the only limits.
